After a week of absence, I think the otters have moved on...albeit not surprising considering the construction and partial freezing over of the pond...kinda sad not to see them frolicking in the water...just stop for a quick bite of crayfish and move on...

However, it is probably better for them, methinks!

At the very least it is indicated not to underestimate what creatures this pond can attract in the future :)

Despite a slight hope as I headed in to work today. there were no Otters in the pond!

Perhaps they will commence their frolicking later in the day!
